1. Steering Committee

The words except that there be no socialists are to be deleted from IV 1(a) of the new Standing Orders.

PGA Constitution should be included.

The result of the Treasurer election.

The motion about the new Exec was passed by each JCR

2. Minutes of the last meeting.

In the devolution motion delete "yawn" and "Council now asleep". Lord Justice Clerk is a title, not Mr L.J.Clarke. The reference to the Church Commission should be to the Wheatley Commission.

Council was told which member of Steering Committee was responsible for the above mistakes.

The totals in the Treasurer election are 1552. That gives a turnout of about 40% - the size of DSU being estimated at about 4000 in another archive.

Another interesting point is that either the result is not listed in full, or it was run under a different system - it appears to be a simple First Past the Post ballot, with no Re-Open Nominations.
