1. Eggs.
2. The above can be produced in battery farms or free range.
3. Battery hens are kept in conditions which leave hens unable to walk.

DSU Believes

1. The conditions in which battery hens are kept are intolerably cruel.
2. We should encourage the end of these practices.
3. We should actively pursue this by ceasing to use battery eggs.

DSU Resolves

1. To stop using battery eggs in catering activities.

DSU Mandates

1. The Services Manager to arrange to use free range eggs from now on.
