I mentioned things like the collegiate system meaning a broad mixture of people and was it the committee's decision to alienate postgraduates by throwing them out of college? Unfortunately the unanimous answer was 'Yes'.

The committee referred to is Resources Committee.

As a side note, the minutes of a previous meeting (17 Oct 1990) include the first reference I've found to the phrase 'spod' (as a noun) in current usage. It was presumably already moderately used by this time...
