2. Few things have ridiculed DSU more than their boycott and picketing of Barclays.

DSU Believes

1. That although the South African apartheid system is morally wrong and entirely reprehensible, the Barclays picketing undertaken by DSU External Affairs each year is counter-productive in that more people bank with Barclays in Durham because of it.
2. That DSU should not waste valuable resources of time and money conducting a picket.
3. That the anti-Barclays literature produced for these pickets costs money.

DSU Resolves

1. To cease the practice of picketing Barclays
