RON, or Re-Open Nominations, is the defender of democratic rights. No matter how bad the situation, RON can be relied upon to provide an alternative. In conventional elections, no matter who you vote for, somehow one of the candidates ends up getting elected. With RON, this is no longer the case.
As well as defending democracy, RON has many other advantages. Unlike some other candidates you might get, RON has never broken manifesto pledges, never said the wrong thing at the wrong time, and never acted against the wishes of the majority. Such a commitment to democracy and accountability is rare.
Some might say that RON is inexperienced, but no - RON has held a whole range of positions - committee member, delegate, executive member, and many more, over a career spanning 25 years and thousands of elections.
Also, unlike the average candidate, RON is a superb multi-tasker. If you, the electorate, want the same candidate to have several positions on a delegation, you can't. RON, however, is so dedicated and committed that if you vote for RON enough, every position can be held simultaneously.
But never let it be said that RON is greedy - recognising the value of a fresh perspective, RON is perfectly willing to resign and run again if anyone else wants to try for the position, and unlike some, RON won't be bitter if you elect a new face instead.
Finally, as the range of candidate photographs show, RON is a master of disguise, able to blend in to a whole range of settings. What other candidate has been so successful at changing their appearance that they were awarded the Peter Mandelson award for image changes in 2001?
Vote RON - vote for Re-Open Nominations.
